Growing up Baptist in southern Virginia and attending a rustic church camp every summer from the age of 10, Beth felt a call to ministry very early in life. After graduating from Catawba College with a degree in psychology she then earned a Master of Religious Education degree from Duke Divinity School.
Several years of work in youth ministry were followed by many years as mother to five children. Upon converting to Catholicism in 2011, Beth reentered the life of youth ministry in the family’s new Catholic Church in northwestern Pennsylvania.
When the Jones family moved to the Greenville area in 2013 they found Our Lady of the Rosary when Beth began working in the church office as Parish Receptionist in 2015. She feels very blessed to have the opportunity to assist parishioners and community members as OLR seeks to minister in our little corner of Greenville.
Beth, her husband, Steven, and their children, have found a wonderful community of Catholic families with whom to fellowship and serve in the Greenville area. They are very grateful to be a part of all that is happening at OLR.
