The Fellowship of Saint Joseph is hosting a book study for the entire parish entitled, “How to be Catholic in Today’s Culture” during Lent. All are invited to attend – we will be studying Father Longenecker’s book “Beheading Hydra”, which examines negative secular trends and provides us with Christian strategies and tools to combat these trends. We have broken the book into themes scheduled an introduction, a conclusion, and four discussion sessions as follows:

Wednesday, March 2nd :     Introduction (Ash Wednesday)

Wednesday, March 9th :      Combating Atheism

Wednesday, March 16th :    Combating Pragmatism

Wednesday, March 23rd :    Combating Relativism

Wednesday, March 30th :    Combating Sentimentalism

Wednesday, April 6th :         Conclusion and the “Radical Plan”

All sessions will be held in Guadalupe Hall on Wednesday evenings immediately after the 6pm Mass. Participants will need to obtain a copy of Beheading Hydra, and do a small amount of pre reading before each discussion session.
