Over the last few years, Our Lady of the Rosary School has welcomed many new families from across the country.  These families often come from cities and states that have become inhospitable to Catholic family life.  Frequently, they have struggled to find schools and even parishes that are willing to stand courageously with them against the secular culture.  One by one, though, they are finding Our Lady of the Rosary and making the bold decision to relocate.  This trend projects to continue into the next school year and beyond.

The OLR community is responding to this phenomenon in two ways:

We are calling this phenomenon “relocatiō”.  Relocatiō occurs when a family moves to join and participate in Catholic culture.  It is no small thing to move across the country, but it is happening because mothers and fathers want to raise their children in a community where people share their faith and values, in a state where there is little risk that the government will try to interfere.

HERE is a link to a novena to Our Lady of Good Counsel to be prayed beginning this Sunday, April 17th and ending Abril 26th.  I am requesting all OLR families pray this novena for the intention bolded at the bottom.  Essentially, we pray that more families embrace the Relocatiō movement and join us.
